Pantone PMS…. Defined
Pantone was founded in 1962 as a small business which manufactured color cards for cosmetic companies. In 1963, it changed its direction and developed the first color matching system which is world known as the Pantone Matching System (PMS). The concept behind the PMS is to allow designers to color match specific colors when a design enters its production state, regardless of the equipment being used to produce the color.
